Great neighborhoods are the result of great people who care to share their time and skills to create a safe and welcome environment for all residents. The Bridle Gate Estates HOA has a five member volunteer board that is charged with overseeing the maintenance of common areas, organizing activities in the community, and monitoring the finances and CC&R compliance. We want to express our collective appreciation for the many hours of service rendered by current board and committee members on behalf of all residents of Bridle Gate. We want to especially thank Alisha Shaw and Liz Christensen whose three year terms of service expired last month. Despite their crazy-busy mom & business schedules, both willingly contributed their time and talents to improve the neighborhood. We welcome our newly elected board members, Kevin Poppe and Garrick Mickelsen who will be great additions to the Board. We look forward to benefiting from their experience and skills. Also thanks to the many owners who willingly help with other projects, activities and community cleanup efforts. Lastly, we want to express appreciation to our new management company C.A.M. and manager, Kimberly Graff, for the expert guidance and accounting expertise. Any HOA issues, suggestions, or applications for architectural review should continue to be submitted to Kimberly@CamUtah.com. Updated documents and notices can be found online at your private portal at www.CamUtah.com and also on the public HOA website www.BridleGateHOA.com.

During the past year, HOA Board and committee members organized several fun social events and holiday activities to welcome new neighbors and share common interests. Hopefully you’ve noticed how attractive the common area landscaping appears this spring. A substantial amount of HOA funds were spent last year to install a totally new irrigation system along 3000 East plus nearly 30 new trees and many new plants. We express appreciation to Kevin and Cindy Poppe who chaired the Landscape Committee and volunteered hours of their time to oversee the landscaping improvements and maintenance of the common areas. Many other improvements were made to the community last year including electrical outlets and photocells that powered our community Christmas holiday lighting at the entrance. Lighting and signage were improved both at the west subdivision entrance as well as the newly improved corner at 2450 South. Our Architectural Control Committee members, including chairman Matt McIff, reviewed several new construction and remodel applications to assure compliance with the Architectural Guidelines for Bridle Gate. There are only eight vacant lots remaining to complete the subdivision and we appreciate the ACC committee members who help protect the architectural integrity of the subdivision.

Members of the Equestrian committee have also invested thousands of dollars in improvements including installation of a commercial grade underground irrigation system that will provide water for the newly planted grass in the five acre pasture area. New equestrian turnout areas and a larger practice arena were constructed with many hours of volunteer labor. We appreciate all who work so hard to keep the Equestrian area so clean and attractive.

Bridle Gate has become one of the premier neighborhoods in St. George and the HOA leadership expresses appreciation to each of you for caring about our neighborhood and taking pride in your individual properties.
